Course details
Metadata, or data about data, is an important aspect of working with information. From file modification dates to the lens used to take a photo, these bits of information attached to or associated with files tell us a lot of information. And, while metadata is useful in many ways, it can also reveal sensitive information. In this course, LinkedIn Senior Staff Instructor Scott Simpson details how to view and modify file metadata on Windows, Linux, and macOS. He demonstrates how to leverage platform metadata tools and discusses the security implications of metadata.
