Managing Azure Resources Using Infrastructure as Code

When migrating to the cloud, it's important that you start with a good foundation. Costs can quickly escalate, and your Azure estate can quickly become unmanageable if you don't get things right at the start. In this course, instructor James Millar covers important concepts you need to know around Azure resources in order to set your cloud environment up for success. He starts by looking at the benefits of infrastructure as code before looking at ARM templates. ARM is the standard way of working with resources, but this course also looks at alternatives such as Terraform. James explains how you can create and deploy templates through the portal, the Azure CLI, and tools such as Azure DevOps.
