Course details

This course focuses on the fundamentals of the Jakarta EE technology and its architecture and helps you to familiarize yourself quickly with the Enterprise Edition of Java. Learn about the shift from Java EE to Jakarta EE, the Jakarta EE Platform and its different profiles and their focus, and the new Jakarta EE Core Profile and its focus towards cloud-native application development. The course teaches you how to quickly get started with Jakarta EE development and shows you how to work with some of its major specifications such as Jakarta Faces, Jakarta CDI, Jakarta RESTful web services, Jakarta Persistence, Jakarta Bean Validation, Jakarta Enterprise Beans, and Jakarta Messaging. Plus, get hands-on experience with code challenges, as well as practice quizzes at the end of each chapter.
