Course details
Revit Model Maintenance focuses on best practice and workflows that improve model performance, saving teams time and money. It is very common for a Revit model to run slowly if certain elements like Inplace families, groups, design options, and warnings are not kept in check. In this course, design technology leader Olivia Morgan explains all the major issues that affect performance in a Revit model. Learn how to use the Model Metrics tool built into Revit to determine what issues you may want to focus on first. Run through each potential aspect of cleaning up your model and the step through each solution to improve performance. Find out how to use a plugin called Ideate to accomplish most of this clean up. Plus, go over alternative workflows on how to fix issues with built-in Revit tools. At the end of the course, you can rerun the Model Metrics tool in Revit to check your model score and see the fruits of your labor.
